CHEF ANGELOS TOGIAS
Born in Athens and shaped by summers in rural Palaiomanina, Angelos Togias refined his culinary craft at prestigious kitchens across the world. At Korkodilos he distills his culinary journey back to essence—bringing the elemental techniques and generational artistry of Greek village cooking to the tables of Krokodilos Kensington.
Menu at Krokodilos follows the natural rhythm of Greek seasons—winter bringing forth the hearty soul of Northern Epirus and Zagori, while summer captures the bright simplicity of island kitchens. This deeply personal journey through taste memories reimagines island recipes through the lens of Angelos’ northwestern roots. Using treasures from the hidden corners across Greece, each dish honours tradition while offering moments of connection to land.

At the core of Krokodilos stands a team of chefs forged by Angelos through years of collaboration and friendship. Angelica and Anastasia, his two principal kitchen lieutenants, have stood beside him through countless culinary challenges. Our partnership thrives on mutual support and the creative tension of our distinct perspectives—three different culinary minds converging to craft something truly exceptional.

Our junior team includes two remarkably talented chefs from Greece who bring profound knowledge of Hellenic gastronomy to our kitchen. Yet what truly defines Krokodilos is its international character — Angelos has cultivated a global team, firmly believing that anyone, regardless of origin, can master Greek cuisine when provided with guidence.
